Are you willing to be obedient to share the truth at a time and place that may not be comfortable or easy?

Does your fellowship enjoy liberty? Are you free to share Gods word where you fellowship?

Truth Ministries and Connection Magazine challenges every follower of Jesus to share God’s word in their churches as well as out of them. Pick a chapter or teaching that Jesus has placed on your heart and share it where you fellowship. If needed, you may select and copy any Truth article featured on the left side of this page. The Holy Bible gives liberty and instruction that each one should use the gift God gave them to minister it to one another (1Peter 4:7-10) by doing so you will lay up treasures in Heaven, where your reward will be great (Matthew 6:20). We have been instructed to teach, admonish and exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today” (Colossians 3:15-16 & Hebrews 3:13). All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Unfortunately, the time has come when men will not endure sound doctrine. We have found that many Americanized churches are guilty of lording over their congregations, which they have been instructed not to do (Matthew 20:25-28). Many are teaching unbiblical theologies based on philosophy and opinion. These same ministers have even strictly prohibited Bible verses from being handed out to their members. They often call the police and threaten prosecution. Since when have Bible scriptures become criminalized? If followers of Jesus are not allowed to fellowship and edify one another, then why do we congregate? These are perilous times and many have become lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God (2Timothy 3:1-4). If you love your congregation and fear Jesus, you must act now! Many are being misled, disarmed and deceived to follow man and his opinions, rather than Jesus and His word. Many are being oppressed and robbed of the liberty Jesus died for them to have.

If you witnessed someone being raped, robbed, beaten, abused, extorted, etc…, would you just stand by and do nothing? That’s exactly what many so-called churches are guilty of.

If you do decide to act on this challenge and hand out Bible scriptures to your congregation, know that it very well may come with much rejection and persecution, but be comforted. For all who desire to live godly, in Christ Jesus, will suffer persecution (2Timothy 3:12). It is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully (1Peter 2:19)

Remember, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Also do not fear for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2Timothy 1:7). There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear (1John 4:18). Be prayerful, loving, patient, long suffering and forbearing. Our brothers and sisters need you to take a stand and act now. Go forth in the Liberty of the Holy Spirits leading. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17). However, you will learn that the liberty of the Holy Spirit is not always present in every church but remember we have been instructed to obey God rather than men (Acts 5:29).
