What does the Bible say about Sex?
NKJV, NIV
What is the truth about sex? What does the Bible say about fornication, adultry, lust, homosexuality, and incest?

These NIV Bible Verses Have The True Answer!

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ...Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

1Corinthians 6:13 ...The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

Leviticus 18:22 Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable.

Deuteronomy 27:20 Cursed is the man who sleeps with his father's wife...

Deuteronomy 27:21 "Cursed is the man who has sexual relations with any animal."

Deuteronomy 27:22 "Cursed is the man who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother."

Deuteronomy 27:23 "Cursed is the man who sleeps with his mother-in-law."

Leviticus 18:20 Do not have sexual relations with your neighbor's wife and defile yourself with her.

Proverbs 6:23-29 ...these commands are a lamp, this teaching is a light, and the corrections of discipline are the way to life, keeping you from the immoral woman, from the smooth tongue of the wayward wife. Do not lust in your heart after her beauty or let her captivate you with her eyes, for the prostitute reduces you to a loaf of bread, and the adulteress preys upon your very life. Can a man scoop fire into his lap without his clothes being burned? Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched? So is he who sleeps with another man's wife; no one who touches her will go unpunished.

Proverbs 23:27-28 for a prostitute is a deep pit and a wayward wife is a narrow well. Like a bandit she lies in wait, and multiplies the unfaithful among men.

Proverbs 6:32 a man who commits adultery lacks judgment; whoever does so destroys himself.

Mathew 5:27-28 You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Mark 7:20-23 (Jesus said)..."What comes out of a man is what makes him 'unclean.' For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean.' "

Galatians 5:19-21 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Neither will...

1Corinthians 6:9-10 ...male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy... ...nor slanderers nor swindlers...

Now...

Jeremiah 7:8-9 Will you steal and murder, commit adultery and perjury, burn incense to Baal and follow other gods you have not known...

Jude 5-7 Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

But you can be set free from the bondage of sin that brings death. If you call on the name of Jesus

1 Corinthians 6:11 …that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Colossians 3:5-6 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.

1Thessalonians 4:3-5 It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God...

1 John 1:5-9 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

To Those Who Fear Jesus…

Hebrews 13:4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.

1 Corinthians 7:2 But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband.

Sex is Good in Jesus’ Ordained Covenant of Marriage...

1 Timothy 4:3 ...which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.
