Does Jesus really answer prayers?

Why are some prayers answered and others are not?

These doctrines of Jesus, which are written in the Holy Bible, have the true answer!

Matthew 6:5-8when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.  “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

John 14:13-14 (Jesus said) ...whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

However...

John 15:16 ...you should go and bear fruit...

Galatians 5:22-23 ...the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

Then Jesus promises...

John 15:16 ... "whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you."

Psalm 145:18-19 The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;  He also will hear their cry and save them.

1John 5:14-15 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

1John 3:21-22 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

John 15:7 (Jesus said) If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.

Psalm 102:17 He shall regard the prayer of the destitute, And shall not despise their prayer.

Proverbs 15:8 the prayer of the upright is His delight.

Luke 18:1men always ought to pray and not lose heart…

James 5:16 The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Proverbs 10:24 ...the desire of the righteous will be granted.

Proverbs 15:29 …The LORD is far from the wicked, But He hears the prayer of the righteous.

Matthew 21:22 …whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.

Remember…

Mark 9:23 (Jesus said) “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

Mark 11:22-24 …“Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

James 1:6 ...ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

James 1:7-8 ...let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Therefore do not doubt!

Mark 5:36 “Do not be afraid; only believe.”

Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God…

Colossians 4:2 Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving...

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Sometimes the answers to prayers are delayed...

Example: Daniel 10:12-13 Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.

To the righteous...

Psalm 20:5 …May the LORD fulfill all your petitions.

To the wicked...

James 4:2-3 ...you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

Isaiah 1:15-16 Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood. “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, Learn to do good…

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

It is time to call on Jesus from a pure heart…
