1 Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.

James 1:2-3 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

Romans 5:3-4 ...tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

1 Peter 1:6-7 In this...greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ...

For...

Deuteronomy 13:3 ...the LORD your God is testing you to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door! My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience. Indeed we count them blessed who endure.

For it is written...

James 1:12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

James 5:11 You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

By the example of Job you should now know that...

But...

But you may be someone like Epaphroditus, who was sick almost unto death. Someone who feels helpless, hopeless, and discouraged. Someone who is wondering why to even bother enduring another day? You may be someone thinking about ending it all; committing suicide? (Stop) I would like to remind you that...

philippians 2:26-27 (Epaphroditus) ...was sick...he was sick almost unto death; but God had mercy on him...

And if you're like David, whom...
